Fully integrated PET/MRI is considered one of the most comprehensive, non-invasive imaging modality available today. New PET tracers are being developed to be more specific to the targeted biological processes, whose kinetics require to be fully understood for a correct analysis. This is where PET image quality and quantification play a crucial role, and targeting exactly those, this project aims to improve and render more accurate PET attenuation-, scatter- and motion correction. Using advanced data correction techniques, enhanced data for diagnosis, therapy planning and therapy response are created.
